Fantastic and rare Bidjar/Bijar ‘Wedding rug’ (woven for a Kurdish wedding ceremony) and signed ‘Mobarak Bad’. Featuring a naturalistic pattern with birds and palmettes, cypresses, and vines on a coral red field, the piece is surrounded by a dark blue border enriched by palmettes linked by vines. The piece is in overall excellent condition for its age.
