Caucasian Shadda


Shadda flatweaves are extremely fine wool artworks, with embroidered details, woven in the 19th century and their striking feature is their use of two, very rarely three, dominant colors for the field. This spectacular specimen features a red and teal field with embroidered primitive symbols places all-over. In excellent condition.
