Description

A sublime Tabriz knotted in the late 19th century in the workshop of the famous Persian Master of the 19th century ‘Haji Jalili’, known for its high quality production and for the characteristic colour palette of the carpets woven in his workshop. This very fine piece features a rare light blue border and an empty decorative ivory field with both medallion and spandrels adorned by all-over botteh. The piece is in very good condition for its age.
