Afshar SOLD
Description
Funky Afshar knotted in the late 19th century by the Afshar tribes in Southern Persia. A beautiful example of tribal woven art. On a deep indigo blue, large stylised flowers are placed with the field enriched by smaller flowers and stars. An all-over ‘Botteh’ (or Paisley) design surrounds the hexagonal garden. The piece is in overall very good condition for its age.
