A spectacular so called ‘Zir Khaki’ carpet finely knotted in Tabriz. Zire Khaki literally means “under the ground” and is referred to Persian archeological finds. In fact, the design includes historical finds found underground as vases, swards, and pitchers on a deep blue field. Extremely fine weave. The piece is in perfect condition, full pile.
