Senneh ‘Haft Rang’
Description
Rare and magnificent Kurdish Senneh so-called ‘Haft Rang’ (which means ‘Seven Colors’ in Persian). The name is given by the silk multicolored warps which are part of the structure of the carpet. Herati allover design in the fields and in the medallion and a sublime a large border with palmettes linked by vines on a deep red color. The piece is in very condition for its age.
