Palatial Tabriz ‘Sheykh Safi’ SOLD

Majestic is how I see this Persian woven masterpiece. Finely knotted in the late 19th century, this Persian dream displays the timeless ‘Sheykh Safi’ design, inspired by the famous 16th century Safavid Ardabil carpet of thre V&A museum in London. The complexity of the design and its quality, together with the gorgeous colors (note the blues, yellows and greens popping out!) really make this piece stand out. In excellent condition.
