Tabriz masterpiece woven in the 40s in the Benlian Workshop in Tabriz. Benlian was a British-Armenian firm enstabilished in Tabriz in the early 1900s opening a workshop specialized in high quality Persian carpets and reproduction of early Safavid carpets. This beautiful piece is a reproduction of the Safavid Kashan (16th/17th century) kilims like the one kept at the Met Museum. The carpet is a full pile, perfect condition.
