Tabriz masterpiece woven in the 20s/30s in the Benlian Workshop in Tabriz. Benlian was a British-Armenian firm enstabilished in Tabriz in the early 1900s opening a workshop specialized in high quality Persian carpets and reproduction of early Safavid carpets. This breathtaking example features a unique sky blue field enriched with a mezmerizing design including mythological creatures such as dragons and phoenixes (Chinese art influence here!) in a hunting design. Soft and elegant pink border. The piece is in excellent condition, full pile.
