Probably the earliest Tabriz ‘Four Seasons’ on the planet, this breathtaking piece features an incredible quality of its raw materials being knotted with fine and shiny kurk wool and using top quality natural dyes which give to the carpet an harmonious and balanced colour palette. The piece is in near perfect condition. Similar pieces but younger are kept in the Carpet Museum of Iran (Tehran) and in the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum (Baku).
