Tehran ‘Shah Abbas’

Description

Magnificent Tehran. Tehran rugs are one of the rarest “city carpets” of ancient Persia since the most active production center were cities like Kashan, Tabriz and Isfahan. This masterpiece was knotted about 150 years ago and it’s in great conditions for his age. The colors are simply amazing. Shades of green, purple and some beautiful abrash. The structure is part-silk (silk warp with cotton wefts) and it has a lot of silk details such as birds and flowers. Masterpiece. In overall very good condition for its age.
