Ivory field Kashan

Description

A Safavid ‘Shah Abbas’ design has been finely drawn on this sublime ivory Kashan, knotted circa 100/120 years ago in Central Persia. The floral pattern of the field is enriched by the large palmettes, linked by Eslimi spiral vines. The ivory border shows vibrant palmettes linked by dark blue leaves. The carpet is in perfect condition.
