Bakhtiari – Finely woven
Description
An unusually fine tribal Bakhtiari woven in the early 1900s by the Bakhtiari tribes located in Southwestern Iran. Gorgeous colour palette (note the beautiful contrasts beetween the minor and main border) and a decorative red field with all-over naturalistic stylised design. The piece is in overall very good condition for its age.
