Flemish tapestry

Description

A truly amazing 17th century Flemish Tapestry depicting a scene of the most important poem made by Toquato Tasso (1544-1595), ‘Jerusalem Delivered’ (1581). In particular, the tapestry shows Carlo and Ubaldo searching for Rinaldo to convincing him to leave the fortress of the witch Armida to return to war (the first crusade). The piece is in overall very good condition despite its age
