Magnificent and rare piece. This fabulous Shirvan displays a rare ‘T’ border (ram’s horns) with a ‘running water’ design floating through the horns. The ‘eyes’ places in the dark brown minor border surround the gorgeous field, which feature horizontal light red/azure stripes containing earrings alternating with ‘Kurt Izi’ (Wolf’s track) motifs which is a symbol of protection of the flock. The piece is in overall excellent condition for its age.
