Wow. This an extremely rare Palatial Khorasan carpet. Visually highly impressive, this superb specimen was knotted in the 19th century displaying a large dark blue medallion in the center, surrounded by bright floral motifs, stunningly drawn, and magnificent Eslimi spirals. The border, has been filled with rosettes alternating with cartouches enclosing spirals and blossoms. The piece is in overall very good condition for its age.
